It is just Michael Huemer narrating his PowerPoint slides but some people may find them interesting. I deem his lessons to be incredibly useful. It would be great for the enthusiasts if he posted more of his lectures.
In a nutshell, he defends that capitalist anarchism is better than socialist anarchism for three reasons:
1. The socialists do not have a good solution to crime. Anarcho-capitalists do, relying on competing security agencies.
2. Capitalists serve useful economic functions, for which the socialists are overlooking though.
3. Socialist anarchism is unstable: a socialist economy would spontaneously evolve into capitalism, if there is no state to stop people from starting capital-controlled businesses. (This is about anarcho-capitalism’s solution to crime: https://youtu.be/O7Q6rPRebwY For more, you can read “Pursuing Justice in a Free Society: Part One—Power vs. Liberty”, Criminal Justice Ethics 4 (1985), 50–72, and “Pursuing Justice in a Free Society: Part Two—Crime Prevention and the Legal Order”, Criminal Justice Ethics 5 (1986), 30–53.”)
If we have talked politics, I may have recommended a book to you, “The Problem of Political Authority” by Michael Huemer, which remains the single most important political book of at least this decade. I also recommend you to read “Ethical Intuitionism”.
You can check the syllabus as well.
